Shed a tear for sight of another's plight!

We go along in our days skipping
Like children we meander our opulent weeks,
Supermarkets filled with plenty,
Delays in deliveries so easily tweaks!

We worry about what do we fancy to eat tonight,
But we have plenty here in the West to ingest,
The lorries come and our worry is our way might be blocked,
There's nothing extra there in fright to invest.

No, we have no fears
We have no tears,
We never see someone starving,
Nor think about the beggars we throw a farthing!

And the children of the Third World hardly stir out minds,
Their government's responsible not us over here,
They spend money on armies and things that kind,
Not because they have so much but because of fear!

They don't have delivery lorries blocking their roads,
They don't have tarmac to suggest the way to walk!
Their voice isn't loud from Asian jungles to talk,
No the water isn't clean and they're unable to goad!

The West doesn't listen though it says it is Christian!
The West wants more stuff they have got, wrangling a price,
They don't want their problems of life to listen
They might give something you don't want and steal your rice!
