I believe in them too. We have entered into a disposable world. We just throw away and get new and that goes for relationships too. I guess I am lucky to grow up when people fixed what was broken.

I am glad that you both made it through difficult times and that you are now hopeful and stronger. Personally I do not know if there are soulmates or whatever people imagine a soulmate to be. Whoever partner we chose, there will be difficulties and challenges and even sorrow and tears. Just because we are human beings and sinners. God bless you!

Daisy50, the same thing happened to me, I was 19 and he was 36, he was the love of my life for 38 years, then death took him. I will always love him.

I am so very glad you made it thru that rough patch, and thankful it was only one. I met my soulmate when i was 19, he was 36, I loved him with all i had and he loved me back , but it ended all too soon , 38 years is not nearly enough. He is and always will be missed.Stay Blessed!!

It was our 32nd anniversary last week. My wife posted we were soulmates. Are we? Probably after that time, two kids and my addiction breakdown rehab and recovery still together planning the future.
