My soulmate is a truck as old as I am...

With the innards of a late model V8, slick tires, standalone ECU with a clean leader harness, advanced and tuned, honed suspension, shiny headers and exhaust, performance cam and lifters, and a turbo that'll knock the socks off down an 8th mile track. And if that baby is manual...an air shifter. 馃槀馃憤

@Lilnonames Omg I love it! I can tell you those are Holley valve covers, cold air intake and carburators! Love Holley, they're great for those Mopar engines. Unfortunately, they're very pricey or can be. Definitely a dream. 鉂わ笍

@RedGrizzly Cold air intake? Mopar?
RedGrizzly26-30, F
@Sevendays cold air intake look like what's in that truck or this:

Mopar engines are simple to build and mod. The company makes parts and engines normally found in Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat. They make a lot of Hemi diesel engines as well. Common one you may see are in the Dodge Charger Hellcat:

@RedGrizzly that's not a cold air intake and that is a Chevy engine.
RedGrizzly26-30, F
@Sevendays haha my bad. I just saw the little Chevy emblem on the valve cover. And I'm sure it has another technical name but I've not been able to find it other than "air intake filter" lol
SevendaysM
@RedGrizzly yep, definitely an air intake. A cold sur intake would be bringing in air from outside the engine compartment.

@Sevendays oh awesome! Good to know because I was looking for the correct term for those too. Lmao because nowadays, people have those damn shakers or fake hood scoops or whatever the heck else. Lol
SevendaysM
@RedGrizzly true, and a working shaker could be considered a cold air intake
