The dream transition [I Believe In Soulmates]

It all started just like any other great love story does; Its intensity was overwhelming almost instantly.

Some might say, that the length of the "courting phase" could be a strong indicator of how indomitable the bond between two souls. If this phase is a short one, the bond will be great. However, if it takes some time to melt away, this bond will be a fragile one.

This particular courting was one of the shortest. But what is even more remarkable, is its transition.

It was as if there were no transition at all! Much like a dream is void of any, noticable transition between scenes. One minute you're being chased by an angry hippo that keeps telling you to eat your soup, while waving a big black boot at you... Then the next thing you know, you are instantly on a rickety old shrimp boat, holding an ice cream cone, dressed like a Gladiator, while Captain Crunch (who looks a lot like your 10th grade history teacher) keeps asking you where his lucky charms are. Only you have no recollection of how you got from one place to the other.

Almost like we went from strangers to soulmates, in 2.7 seconds... And I didn't even notice that it had happened.
