I Thought I'd Found My Soul Mate

Reading an old letter from a friend today.. brought back memories.. some happy some sad.. and it left me a little melancholy.. The thing is I thought... we don't all always end up with the one we think of as our soul mate.. there's no unwritten rule that just cos someone is your soul mate, you are theirs, or that some silly problem can cause it to end.. Sometimes we get another chance.. but sometimes it's just too late and time and space have aligned themselves to make it impossible to try again...

I'd encourage everyone to hang on tightly if they find their soul mate.. but unfortunately for some they just don't get that happy ending, happy ever after...

LOL I am not being sad now.. just making an observation.. sometimes things just don't work out how they should

Unfortunately, my soulmate left for college, and we both ended up with our own families. We still felt it and remained very close. He took my deepest, darkest secrets to the grave with him a four years ago.

Aww yes that was the kind of thing I was thinking of.. where you can know someone is your soul mate but have to accept that you cannot be with them x
