Infatuation/liking for hot teachers/professors?

Is that a thing of today or did that exist in the 70s and 80s too?

I don’t know of many who fancied teachers when I was at school, but I do remember one in particular that I liked, and now that I’m a bit older I realise it’s because she talked to me like an adult, not a kid. She was with another teacher and I was actually a bit jealous.
