Grief and quilting and other stuff
Somebody said psychologists say that for every year you are married you will grieve for one month. It was probably meant to be a comfort, a way of saying that the worst is over, but I was so angry I wanted to hit them. They have absolutely no clue what they are saying.
I think people think I should be back to my normal chirpy self, I mean it's been two years but actually I think I only just started to properly grieve because now, it's starting to feel real. I partly blocked it out before, a way of surviving I suppose. It still kind of feels a bit like a dream that I might actually wake up from but I guess that's probably natural. I am moving forward in small ways, I know you'd be pleased I'm starting to sew again. I'm making some patchwork quilted cushions from your shirts. They will look great when they're done xx
