Depends how long it's been since the breakup. After a few years, it starts to matter less. In the intial aftermath though it hurts like hell. Pain helps us grow. Hang in there.

@GohantheThird it's been a couple months

@Number5 it's gonna take a lot longer than a couple of months. You'd need atleast a year to process it.

@GohantheThird what hurts more is that my ex's mental health wasn't let's say very healthy, she probably experiences this a lot more intense than i do. i wish she doesn't.
the thought that she is suffering even more than me fucks me up even more

@Number5 unfortunately my man, there isn't a lot you can do for her. Your compassion does you credit, but right now you need to focus on yourself. Unless you two work together or you have kids with her, there's no need for you to contact her. Right now, it's better if you don't though. Take time to grieve.

@GohantheThird i can't contact her, we ended things on a very bad note. there are things she said that i still am hurt from and wouldn't wanna speak to her. i wasn't the one who ended things, it was her. it's so messed up.
i know time heals, i guess the pain is something i just have to go through
