I Miss You

Hey you. It's like the more I don't want to think about you, the more I do. What keeps me from contacting you is telling myself that it would be selfish and serve no benefit to you. I've checked my messages more then I'd like to admit, looking for your name. This time around you're stronger, you're really moving on, just like I pretend to be doing. Since there is no possible way for us to come back together, I'm happy to hold on to the good memories that may have been ruined otherwise. The excitement and spark between us was just that new love that eventually settles down with every other relationship. It would have done the same with us. I promise to always remember the excitement over the anger.
