A little 6 year old girl hugged me by surprise.

I was walking down the street passing my friends place and kids were playing outside.

Out of nowhere I hear footsteps running in my direction and I feel arms wrapping around me. I look down to see this kid hugging me tightly and greeting me.

Damn that melted my heart ❤️.

I did that to someone when I was little. Like 6. It was an accident and I hugged her and thought she was my mother. When I looked up she awed and I got scared and ran away to find my mom lol

Once I was chatting with a friend in a local park when a 2 year old girl seemed to mistake me for her mother. She appeared out of nowhere and tried to climb to my lap and was beyond herself with joy and affection. It was cute but awkward at the same time. 😅 I wanted whoever who was with her to pick her because I didn't know what to do. She didn't seem to grasp I was a stranger and I couldn't figure out who she belonged to either.

@texasborn89 Yes I know her. I sometimes visit her uncle. She and her mom lives with the uncle. The uncle is also my cousin's former father in-law, which makes his grandkids my cousin's kids, making my cousin's kids and I and my own daughter's related in some way lol.

So I'm not a stranger lol.
