I Have a Broken Heart
To all of you with a broken heart, those of you who find it difficult to make it through the day, those of you who are in pain, those who cant picture happiness ever again..... I just want to tell you, keep your chin up. It may feel like the worst while you are going through your pain, life seems to drag you down, and it never seems to get better... I have been there too, I started on EP because of a broken heart, that shattered my world.
It was tough, it was a struggle to find the motivation to do anything. I realized that i needed to make a change, and that is precisely what I did. Once I got out and reintroduced myself to the world, something beautiful happened... The most remarkable ability that we as humans possess is the ability to forget. Yes, we remember the pain, but we do not relive the feelings... We can remember the depression, but we never grasp the duration of the hardship... Once we are healed, we can look back, it makes the rough times easier, and we are able to look back and process and learn from our experiences.
I was crushed once, probably worse than most of you reading this right now. I thought my sky was never going to be blue again. I thought there was nothing left for me. But then the clouds cleared, and I was able to see the truth through the rain. My depression was bad yes, but through my struggles, i am a better person today.
When I look back now, the pain and hurt i was feeling never seems to match or can i even fathom what i was experiencing at ground zero. I believe in all of you, regardless of your situation. You hold the keys to your happiness, it maybe tuff, but it is on you to pull yourself out of this funk. Find something you love and devote yourself to it. Through new passions will bring new light through the clouds.... And remember, flowers never fully bloom until they had a little rain.
There are plenty on here that are willing to lend and ear if you need it, including myself.
