i really hate the feeling of being replaced.
i care so much about people and it genuinely hurts knowing they could lose me and be completely fine, while losing them would break my heart. i wish i didn’t care this much.

Not sure if that means you care that much about them. Sounds more like being afraid of not meaning as much to them as you thought you did or as much as you should.
