I to was in a failed relationship where she left. It hurt for a long time and probably still would if I hadn't forced myself to let go some time ago. It would've destroyed me.

Try to keep busy, love yourself most of all. And at some point you'll realize how foolish they are for letting you go. Because you are an amazing person and deserve way better than anything they could've offered you.
