How can you find such a stone of a heart in yourself?

Wouldn't you reciprocate your person's love? Or would you just take advantage of it? And then leave them barren?

I'm usually the one taken advantage of. I typically give all of myself to one person. It seems to be rare since others typically seek multiple people to fill different aspects of what makes them feel good.

I think true love is a gift freely given, not reciprocated out of a sense of obligation.

@PhilDeep it's only an idealistic concept. All human connections are built are mutualism. Otherwise, one person is just a parasite. Everyone needs a shoulder to lean on sometimes. It's just the balance of things. It's basic human decency.

@assemblingaknob Mmhmm. But concepts are concepts and feelings are feelings. You can't pretend they're there when they're just not, though it does appear to be the most widespread lie. Compassion is a different matter in my opinion and might be closer to what you seem to be talking about, but people differ. All the best to you in any case.
