Have you ever broke someone’s heart?

Complicatedsyrup · 46-50, F
Absolutely and I think that’s just part of being human and it’s like a skinned knee, badge of honor, you have to stumble.

You have to put yourself first and be your own advocate . Sometimes that means breaking someone’s heart. You can’t stay with that person just because you don’t wanna break their heart. If you’re not in love with that person, you’re gonna have to break their heart, otherwise you’ll be breaking your own.

Actually, the feelings I had when I broke someone’s heart have help me understand my own broken heart now, so the person who broke my heart felt the way I felt when I broke someone’s heart… so I understand them..

The most beautiful thing about a broken heart is forgiveness and it’s not for them, although you have forgiven them, the absolute perfect feeling of peace and acceptance and beauty after a broken heart is when you decide that you can forgive them because you need to do it for yourself.

There are ways to break a heart unfortunately, we don’t always have the confidence and the integrity and honesty to do it as beautifully as it should be done, and I am no angel. I have broken hearts in a bad way, and I feel like karma is real because my heart is really badly broken and I feel like this is just more life experience:

Ultimately, you have to let go of any anger for the person who broke your heart because you have to respect that they chose their own soul which is more important than your feelings and I don’t want anybody to stick around out of pity.

I kind of went off on a rant there, I sound like an armchair psychologist, but it felt good to let that out. Thanks for reading.
Yeah😞
It was awful😓

But what can you do when you discover you don't love someone ? Lead them on? Pretend ?
...or let them know ?

@OogieBoogie Exactly.Even if doing so feels really yucky.

Yes, and had mine broken as well.
Possibly. But never, ever intentionally. Experiences have left me less than whole. 🙁

Yes I have.
A time or two..
I guess that could describe the reaction when I called the cops on her
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Sounds like a difficult situation. 🙁
