The sad thing is that hurt truly does come in many forms......
It hits us when we least expect it.....
It hits us from the ones you've cared about most of your life......
Hurt hits you to the soul......
Hurt hits and breaks your heart.....
It may heal over time.....
When hurt comes......distance.....

Only we can save ourselves, so to speak. If not, things get too toxic and distance is the only choice there is. Healthy boundaries kinda suck in their own certain ways, but balance is the goal, says my mind. My heart says....meh.

I'm happy you set that healthy boundary with your sister & family. Now it's time to mend the wounds. I'm not convinced that all old wounds completely heal tho. 💔
