I Have a Broken Heart

I did not realize that someone could just drop you so easily after you loved and fought for him.

I fought distance, racism from his parents and his unavailability. I endured being not a top priority. I literally accepted his poverty and sickness and he just dropped me. I understand that he wants to focus on his son but he cannot make room for me. I feel so hurt and empty.
