The closer you get to me, the less you are able see all of me. See me from the distance but feel me close to your breathing. Make love to my senses, to my shadow, to my soul, and touch me as only lovers do. Do whisper your desire to my heart, reach for me, when I'm asleep, dreaming of you, falling apart, not being able to feel your heart beating. So, get closer, make love to me, now.

I had to reread a few times. And then it clicked and I understood your words and they stirred deep within me. To love is love the entire, the all inclusive, not only in ones arms flesh to flesh, breath to breath. But loving, as one, as in total, from a far, being connected even when not in each other's physical prescence, loving ones soul, being able to gently caress ones heart from a distance because one is deeply, emotionally connected to the other, as you say, make love to my shadow, how beautiful is that, it's like make love to my essence, that part of me where I've been. It's like you can sense where your lover has been and love her essence.

I felt the power and the desire, I felt the connection, the yearning, the commitment, that you wanted your lover to love you from a distance but then, love me now, make love to me now, and that you were giving in with all of your being, total acceptance and commitment.
