I Believe In Love

Very nicely written with lots of astute, intimate thoughts.

We can all keep people at a distance and have good reason to do so, not necessarily meaning any reason has to be a 'bad' reason but we do such by choice.

[i]'See me from the distance but feel me close to your breathing.'[/i]... makes me wonder how many people might do this without even knowing what it is they are actually doing; intimately at a distance hardly seems strange to consider, likewise, neither does to 'feel' at a distance.

[i]Make love to my senses, to my shadow, to my soul, and touch me as only lovers do.[/i]
Where 'shadow' and 'soul' are both none tangible; like the imagination, which can indeed 'touch' and those inner senses can be very powerful.

[i]Do whisper your desire to my heart, reach for me, when I'm asleep, dreaming of you, falling apart, not being able to feel your heart beating.[/i]
And all of this from a distance. The imagination itself is a powerful thing and what poets strive to enter into in order to play around with the thoughts. Without imagination our lives can be said to be a tad boring.

Well thought out and, I'm sure, full of meanings that can lead a person upon many different paths to come up with something different to what you yourself thought as you wrote this, Great read :)
