I envy couples who really grow old together and don't get fed up with each other's shortcomings.
This should be natural, but some don't even last a decade.

@1PrivateHannah Very thoughtful.

@1PrivateHannah this is what romance means. Investing in someone eventhough they are not family

We have reached that stage in life when I pray that I will still be able to take care of her to the end.

We're heading to that 3 decade mark 🥰🥰🥰

yes

but when I was in school girls wanted to wait until 30. Now I am 30, and do not care
TallBeardedHung · 26-30, M
@TallBeardedHung I even told my college friends not to delay it that far. Boys may lose interest waiting for decades.

It's something to keep waiting and then forget you were waiting for something and focus on work
Ann99 · 41-45, F
@TallBeardedHung I believe that if love is truly real, then a person can wait as long as needed for the right one but at the same time, love should be from both sides. If it’s only one-sided, it becomes painful and unfair.

Real love is not just about waiting it’s also about understanding, effort, and commitment from both people

@Ann99 I didn't mean in a personal sense but in the macro. Most boys I knew wanted to marry the first girl they liked, including me, when we were in middle school and early high.

But very soon we learnted girls wanted to wait for 15 years, so we found our passions. some found sports, some aademics, some work, some books, some youtube and social media

Eventually we forgot why we even changed from what we originally wanted. We didn't anything but a quiet life with someone who cared. That's the version of romance for young boys. Then life hits and we become entrepreneurs, body builders and ove decades forget about the choices we made ad why we made them

It's the same for me. Romance has gone. I still like girls but more so sexually today
