Long distance can work ❤️

Hi:) Just wanted to share my little story for anyone going through the stress and loneliness of a long distance relationship. Before October of last year, me and my bf of 3 years were in a LDR. We saw each other maybe three times a year. Sometimes he drove to see me, and other times I would save up for a plane ticket or bus fare and it was usually a tiring trip but I did it for love. ❤️ And I know he did too. He would drive 14 hours without stopping to get to me. No one had ever been that dedicated to me before. The way we met was silly but cute. I had participated in one of those FB challenges where you post this outrageous thing from a list and whoever likes or comments must post whatever number you give them. I made him post “I only date handsome guys”. 😂 We started messaging daily and video chatting regularly. He somehow made me forget how alone I felt at school. I always looked forward to talking to him. Then we started talking about meeting in real life and I’m so glad we planned it. My parents were not on board at first, but they really loved how happy we looked in our pictures together. He was there for me when I lost them...I would not have gotten through it without him. We have had our ups and downs like all couples, but I can honestly say he’s my best friend. We’ve laughed together, cried together, and so much more. And I wouldn’t trade our love for anything. ❤️ So to anyone feeling alone in the world, just know that love is out there for you. Sending blessings to you in 2021. xx

Yes. We were long distance throughout senior year of high school and all of college until October of last year. And yes, sadly. @SW-User
