I Believe In Love

You know, I may not have my better half, but...

Hello. I would like to post a statement about the person I once loved. You know, I loved that man so much. I knew he could not love me back. I knew it. I still went on and love him, even though there was no chance. I just want him to be happy, even if it's a life without me in it. I don't want to be selfish. It would be selfish for me if I took him as mine. Some of you may disagree with this, but I believe in God. I continuously prayed every night to God for his safety, health, good cheer, blessings, and most of all, a better half (a girlfriend). He needed one. I just want him to be happy in his times of hardships. I do not know if there's anyone around him to help him, but I prayed that that light would come to him. It did. I just found out he found his better half. I am so thankful that he found his. I'm so happy for him, yet it breaks my heart to know that my love has found his love. It's alright. At least he's happy. And now, what do I do now? I'll just move on. Continue to pray. Hope for the best. He'll be alright. I believe in love and it came to him at last. The question is... when will mine come to me?

It is only a matter of time when you will happen upon your other half. As long as you have hope, as long as you still have the strength to keep on going, you will find him. As long as you have faith in true love, you will surely find the one you're looking for. The only thing left to do is to wait. And yet that's the hardest part, isn't it... I am glad to have had the chance to see that such caring and sweet people like you, who sacrifice their own happiness for the sake of another's, still exist. It is truly heartwarming.
