Appreciation from Angelo!
I am the first to admit that we are not the “norm” as families go because we see clothing as a human construct and artifice to avoid the varied social problems of our just being people. There are generations of our family who are the same, clothes are worn when you’re with strangers.
Receiving praise from strangers who see you naked is perhaps something quite surprising. Answering the door to your home naked is not exposing yourself because you are in your own home. It’s only exposure if you’re outside of your home and in the public space.
Angelo has come to understand this point since he has not complained about my daughter and I in our home. I think he is more appreciative of our viewpoint and perhaps of our bodies. He has said that he sees how he is trusted by us, which makes him happy to join us naked accepting the sense and sensibility of our philosophy.
He has said that he has not experienced this degree of confidence and trust, which he does see as something appreciable and he has said it was at first challenging. We have seen his reaction to this, and watched his attempts to control his instinctual reaction. He has shown us his tactics too.
