I am the Beholder
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
Or at least that’s what they say
And I’m forced into believing
Because I see beauty everyday
The way the river flows downstream
That bird upon the wire
The bunny rabbit in the field
The flames of a campfire
The child that lent a helping hand
The random smile of a stranger
The person staring at the sun
The National Park Ranger
The wildflowers along the trail
The bee that tastes its pollen
The eagle, crow, the songbird
And all the calls that they are calling
The way her hair falls languidly
Across her too cute face
The way she dances through the world
Twirling inside grace
The way I tend to feel inside
Whenever she get near me
The thoughts that she creates
And the way that they heal me.
