A friend sent me this we were talking about love. Not something I usually post, but this is worth sharing, I have her permission.

If you love someone because they love you, its empathy. If you love someone for their looks - obsession. If you love someone for what they have, that’s interest. If you love someone for their kindness, that’s admiration. But if you’re confused about why you live someone, that’s definitely love. Because real live doesn’t come with a reason, you can’t point to the thing that caused it.you can’t explain it in a way that makes sense to anyone. Real love is not a list of qualities , it’s not what they give you or what they look like or what they do for you.. it’s just them. The whole person., the parts that don’t make sense along with the parts that do. if you can explain exactly why you love someone you might just be describing the parts you like about them.love doesn’t need a reason. That’s how you know it’s real
