As It Was on Day 1

We’ve been together almost nine years and if you told me then what I know now, that, the journey you asked me to take with you would be feature a strong connection, love that would shine its brilliance even through our darkest days and you, a woman that would capture the full essence of me down to the deepest part of my soul, I’d probably not have believed you. But all that I wrote here is truth, and wonder and love. And I thank you for everything from day 1. And after this afternoon’s phone call, I think it’s like we took our vows of commitment all over again. You had asked a question before we said goodbye for the evening. You asked if you might be falling in love all over again? To that my darling I can say that you are because I know I am as love is on the horizon and it’s written in the stars across the night sky. Love is in the air and it’s coming like it did on Day 1 all those years ago. I love you!
