Love one another

Do you know in the book of Acts Jesus Christ gave his last commandment before ascending to heaven “ love one another “. Was he just telling his apostles or did he mean everyone? Was he just talking about those who abide by the faith? What do you think?

This post is not about arguing if God is real or if you believe or not or anything that you think contradicts.

I believe the commandment says "Love one another, as I have loved you", not "Love one another, as I have loved you - as long as they are of the same denomination as you".

The problem with this commandment is that it can be applied too rigidly or too loosely. Some like to quote it as an argument for not seeing the sinner beyond the sin... other's like to use it as an excuse to minimise harmful behaviours instead of applying the whole aspect of repenting from their sins and turning away from the things they know they shouldn't be doing.
