Some people break up.. And then are ok again, and break up again and stay in that vicious cycle for a long time

Living in such turmoil must be exhausting.

I haven't experienced that, have you and how much that relationship lasted?

I had an on off relationship over a period of 11 years.
It robs you of so much joy.
And as time goes on the break ups become more frequent and the time apart extends too. You then spend more time wishing to resolve things than actually working at the relationship in a loving and healthy way. The rush you get when you get back together is so euphoric is addictive.
It's not sustainable and I think can contribute to the world of health issues like high blood pressure, and strokes.
@Mellowgirl I understand the rush and excitement after all, it's like an addiction...
@Mellowgirl are you feeling calmer now that you aren't in that relationship?
