Love is life and death

The sun provides almost all the energy on Earth. It provides warmth, climate, wind, rain, etc. The sun creates the rythm of life. Without the light there wouldn't be photosynthesis, no plants and no animals. No life.

Love is the same.
It fills our lives with meaning, joy, and purpose. With love, we thrive emotionally, just as nature thrives under the sun.
The sun shines freely on all without asking for reward. Pure love gives generously, not out of obligation, but because it is its nature to give.
Like sunlight breaking through a storm, love brings hope in dark times. It gives us clarity, direction, and comfort when we feel lost or overwhelmed.

But,
But too much sun can wither a plant, just as possessive love can suffocate a person. What starts as warmth can become a fire.
Without the light we are in dark and can't see anything, but staring too long at the sun damages vision and makes you blind. Blindly following love, ignoring reality, can lead to heartbreak or pain. Even cause long term soul damage.
Just as we need the sun, we need love. But without boundaries it can leave scars. Love can heal, but it can also hurt.

Love is like sun is not optional. You can hide from it for a while but can't live without it.

I recently planted some hostas anticipating that a neighbor's tree would provide the shade to protect it from the sun. But then the neighbor cut down the tree, leaving my poor leafy friends with 7+ hours of direct sunlight a day and no way can I grow a replacement tree of my own fast enough :(

Besides possessive love there's also love we have no control over, it's all in someone else's hands.
