Can you run out of (romantic) love?

Like, can you give so much and receive so little that your brain just shuts off whatever part is responsible for love?

Like I've been starting to think I'm aroace, the past few relationships I've been in, I have felt nothing. You know that sparkly, warm feeling you have when you see/hear/talk to/think of someone you love? Yeah, I haven't felt that feeling in a long time.

Or maybe I just haven't found the right person yet, idk

You don’t have to experience romance to feel love. You can love your friends, you can love your family, you can love things, pets, places, etc. Just because you lack one type of love doesn’t mean you don’t feel it at all. I think you’re awesome, the idea that someone can still love without it having to be romantic or sexual is beautiful and while not everyone has to believe it, I think it’s important that there’s people like that. That “warm/sparkly” feeling doesn’t have to be there. Sometimes you can just love someone without knowing it, love them without the understanding that there’s a specific “tell” to it.
@Sometimesitsbetter2letsome1go yeah...

I think I should've specified I was talking about romantic love, like yeah, I feel love still, just not romantic love anymore
