You don’t have to experience romance to feel love. You can love your friends, you can love your family, you can love things, pets, places, etc. Just because you lack one type of love doesn’t mean you don’t feel it at all. I think you’re awesome, the idea that someone can still love without it having to be romantic or sexual is beautiful and while not everyone has to believe it, I think it’s important that there’s people like that. That “warm/sparkly” feeling doesn’t have to be there. Sometimes you can just love someone without knowing it, love them without the understanding that there’s a specific “tell” to it.
@Sometimesitsbetter2letsome1go yeah...
I think I should've specified I was talking about romantic love, like yeah, I feel love still, just not romantic love anymore

I can relate. I feel depleted of love and I don't get the warm fuzzy feelings anymore. I know I push some of it away because I'm afraid to let myself get wrapped up in something draining. But also, nobody makes me feel safe or prioritized, so why should I open up?
It could definitely be not having met the right person, but I wouldn't know what the right person feels like either...

Of course. I found it hard to believe until it happened to me. Same with sex drive. For me it wasn't due to giving too much love, more like "use it or lose it" situation. Idk what happens in to body but there are theories that it has something to do with oxytocin.

Not sure you can give away too much love but genuine heartbreak can destroy it all.
