If the rule is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you"...doesnt that mean the way they treat you is how they want to be treated? Just sayin"...

@PHlover19701 Most people are not treating others the way they want to be treated, no. It is very hard to not treat people how they treat us. To treat people better when mistreated is the challenge! That is what Jesus requires from us as Christians!

@Carazaa He also mandates we take care of the poor and needy...and specificly states the way we traat them s how we treat Him. Migrants are but one of the poor and needy...look how 'Christians' are treating them.

@PHlover19701 We don't always treat people loving, I agree.

@Carazaa You're right. I have yet to hear about even one organized religious group take a stand against what the cutrent administration is doing to the poor and needy and say...This is not how we are to treat them. The church is charged with being the moral and ethical compass...to be leaders...shepherds....In my opinion...they have failed in that respect. Is it any wonder why God given rights are being trampled day after day by the current administration? What does the bible say about anti-christs....and who will be fooled by them? Christians are being fooled... I always wondered by the Bible states only 144,000 people will be saved to heaven. I tnink Im seeing why...its only a few that can see whats truly happening.

@PHlover19701 Most people are not reading their Bibles, and are not saved Christians at all. I believe Jesus is coming in our generation, and He is coming to judge the living and the dead. The church is dead! Satan has crept in to churches with hate, conspiracy theories, politics, and forgot Jesus.

@PHlover19701 Most churches I believe are apostate and most people are NOT reading their Bibles, and most people are not Christian at all. Jesus illustrated this when he told us only 50% of those who "call" Jesus Lord, were actually let in heaven. (The parable of the 10 virgins)
And in Matthew 25
‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”
Matthew 25
