Hatred binds you to a person similar to love ?

Have you ever hated someone so much that you feel so sad for all you had to sacrifice for them to make them happy but they broke your heart , however the hate you have for them only draws you towards them and you keep ruminating over them.

I was just telling someone earlier, I rarely hate.
It takes as much energy as love.
If you're spending that much time hating someone, you must care for them a little.
