So....early 'smash and grab' from our respective works to spend a little time with our mom's, ahead of Mother's Day, which took place on Sunday. Couple of hours with each, giving platitudes and gifts, then get back home...showered...changed....evening meal and...well...what do couples normally do, eh sweeties? Spot of snogging and other things..

Then, up early on Saturday...get sorted....spot of food shopping for today.....and get our AirBnB down in Brighton...which was lovely...not much time to settle in as we were hauling our country asses over to the O2 Arena, down London, for the 'Country 2 Country Festival', which was headlined by Mr Cassandra...well, in another Parallel Universe I'd be married to Brad Paisley!
...for a wonderful show. No Carrie, sadly, this time...but he was a blast...
Get back, sleep...bite to eat....then see Matt's team, Nottingham Forest play against Brighton....again, some dodgy ref-type decisions...and we lost! Annoyingly!
Bite to eat, tidy up...and off we popped back home to Nottingham.
Tired today...luckily I'm the boss so I'm taking it a bit easy today!
So..love is....doing things that you like...together...regardless of whether it's your thing or your partners...

Whilst my life is far from perfect - and I wouldn't want it to be - me and my fella decided, right from the start, that we'd be supportive of each other's things/situations that make us happy. It's just respectful. We're both quite low key/low maintenance people but we do try to keep those foundations in mind.
