Does he like me?

I'm not sure if my guy friend likes me. (Lets call him tomato) The both of us are classmates, he's in all of my classes, even elective. Tomato and I chat online together everyday and I've caught him staring at me from time to time during class. Our teachers have also given subtle hints of them shipping us together. We also play games together from time to time. Tomato has also sent me a virtual hug GIF and other stuff. We have also made physical contact multiple times, just to add that in there. This has been going on for a while. Even after all of this I'm still unsure if we are just friends or more, please help me out! ALSO I HOPE HE DOESNT SEE THIS OML
