Honest, if not quite open
Still I sit here always hoping
We keep up with all our coping

But I get it, and it's okay

Sometimes its hard to know what to say

In our first kiss my heart was sealed
I am transparent and revealed

You are the light that I must follow
And though today has brought some sorrow
I look ahead to times less harrowed
When we sit in each other's shadows

Hand in hand we'll walk together
Make our troubles light as feathers
Each storm our love shall weather
Never to be severed.
