It's kinda sad seeing how happy a woman is that a man does the bare minimum
They're praised for stuff that doesn't even deserve praise because it's literally asking for a bare minimum. Or they talk about their man like they're the most amazing thing when they're just highlighting stuff that should be basic human decency.
"He doesn't hit me at least"
"He never yells"
"I'm so lucky he never cheats on me"
And they talk about it so happily. Like damn, all those things aren't even something to get a pat on the back from.😭 As someone abused though I also get it.

@Littlepineapple Yeah, sometimes I'm sure it's annoying for some people here, but I do love him a lot. I'm just happy, and I sometimes feel overwhelmed by how much I love him so I express it a lot here. But I'm not hurting anyone.😊

I try my best be open about anything I'm feeling. And sometimes I get a tad anxious right around meeting again since lately we go a few weeks without seeing one another since he's in the middle of a job change.
So by time we see each other sometimes I get worried maybe he doesn't want me anymore.🥲but it's just my own traumas that I'm working through.
It helps we're both open with one another so I can tell him if I need something or if there is anything on my mind.

@Darksideinthenight2 I'm sorry if you have had bad experiences with controlling partners. But checking in on your partner is very common, if not a vital part of a healthy relationship. Got have a little check up here and there. It's super healthy if not done too much or too little. Balance.
