A classmate did this reading at the Pasadena Playhouse for the Fall Drama festival. "I did the courtroom scene" From "To Kill A Mockingbird" Our drama teacher was straight out of a Oliver Twist novel. LOL

@SW-User I read "Crime and Punishment" at 12 I LOVED language and books at a very early age.

@Grateful4you I did not read a novel till I was sixteen. Then I discovered Hemingway and I was hooked. Dostoyevsky came later.
As much as I hate English nineteenth century novels, I love Zola.
