It burn you from inside… but it becomes a source of warmth and light for everyone around you.

That’s why it takes a person of immense strength to keep that compassion burning throughout life.

But it is worth it. Isn’t it? ….. even if it’s for a few moments.

Yes, entirely worth it. A heart who only cares for themselves is only left with themselves in the end. A heart opened lit with compassion, warmth, and love finds the joy of love and life, even if what you see burns you.
