Crappy heart

I’ve got this thing inside of me that lights up every time I make someone feel good. Either its by giving them a gift, a hug, listening to them etc etc. It fulfills me and I don’t know what to do with this information. Its like my heart melts. It feels so good that it hurts.I wonder why

@Zeusdelight Well, it’s kind of contradictory. I feel like being like that has absolutely no point. Because yes, the other person is happy for whatever period of time and it makes me feel good. But I also feel like thats it. There’s nothing after that. Its like when you drink alcohol. It feels good for the moment but then what. I’m not sure of how to explain it properly

@Myrnah Well feelings are temporary, that is their nature. You feel good about helping someone else feel good, then you move on to another thing in your day.

The point in it is that you and another person have felt good. That is the simpleness of life. No need for big drama, just little times of doing good:)
