Why is it so hard to find love?

I get that some people work odd hours, and there are some that chose to remain single.
But the lack of effort is ridiculous.
I don't really get it anymore.
Am I weird for finding 3 days of no communication odd in an era of mobile phones. Social media, instant messaging!

It's it weird that you don't respond to messages but you share reels on my socials...

I'd it weird that it took you 6 months to realise that I wasn't a bad person?

And the current one that filled your space is now fading me out?

Maybe I'm stuck in the 90s way of dating.
Coz all these modern rules are causing me massive amounts of headaches and disappointment!

Finding someone who communication style and needs are compatible with yours is tricky. Some people, especially if they’re in the ‘dating, but not serious yet or not looking to make it serious’ are fine with communicating once every few days or even once a week. Other than letting them know you’d like to talk more often, it’s kinda a ‘people are who they are’ long-term, trait things.
Lots of people out there do want to catch up once a day or every other day more regularly. You don’t need to settle. Even if they’re genuinely so busy that you guys barely talk/have time for each other and this bums you out —that’s a cue their lifestyle isn’t going to be compatible with your needs and be an ongoing problem where the only solution would be one of you sacrificing who you are to appease the other..

I dunno about the ‘not talking to me, but posting on their feed’ thing though. I feel like with all the ways we can instantly talk to each other no matter where we are or what we’re doing and the ability to observe each other, people forget it’s healthy to not feel like talking to someone and be be doing other things.

@WhateverWorks I have no issue with a person needing time away. But to not communicate at all but send reels every now on then isn't really normal behaviour for the person or a boyfriend
