@DarkHeaven no just that but also the bad experiences with family, friends and society. I don't think it's worth the backlash. Makes the relationship too stressful.

@empanadas that’s a super fair point. we’ve dealt with a lot from her family because I’m white… and also that we are a gay couple in general.

@DarkHeaven yeah that must had been hell. I hope some of them eventually warmed up to you. I just can't deal with someone who's family doesn't want me around

@empanadas Her family she knows is black and her Mum is half black and she is a quarter black lesbian, so there’s already some stuff there anyways.

@empanadas it makes me sad but she says it’s just always been that way. But like I said, her Mum loves me and my parents adore her, so it works for us.
