When love is true
The question was always: is the love there was or even is still there, true? We aren't taught any more about the idealistic love that once was the subject matter of the medieval troubadour, and for sure not the adoration of God the Father. The troubadour sang his song to a woman that he never could have. I always wondered about that. It was also going on at the same time as St Francis and his love for nature, et al. Now today I got blocked by two people on here. Twice a different story, but at the same time an identical theme. Was there actually any care behind it all? Then it hit me, whenever love is with care for the person, or in general, then it's true. It's quite simple. True love is both passionated and unselfish because the warmth coming from it isn't from mere lust, longing nor popularity, but from really caring for that other person or people too. I love you, though your love can't be unconditional like my mom's was. I love you too, because I know deep down that you care about me. Not knowing the caring part is deadly for the longevity of the relationship, because it's indeed the caring that brings the troubadour actually to sing his song and not love. Well, that's my own very personal thought, opinion and statement. Take care!
