If it was good enough for Frida Kahlo, it’s good enough for me, she was married to Diego but they both had numerous lovers. I guess it’s just for the artist and bohemian types. I know my partner could never not woo other women he is just a charming, flirtatious, passionate person.

@chrisCA That’s kind of why it doesn’t make sense. In the past, a woman who took a lover risked extreme social censure, sometimes even death. Then marriage was primarily about her use in providing the next generation of the man’s family. Her involvement with any other man could threaten paternity.
But now, in most cultures that won’t punish a woman for infidelity, they won’t punish her for choosing not to marry, either..
