Is it Love or Just a Playful Feeling?

I am new to this website. So I will remain straight forward as possible. So I have a crush on this guy in our school. He is my classmate. We are currently in tenth grade. Funny enough, it's the fact that I've only developed an attraction to him when I could have had the same feeling when we were still in seventh grade. I don't know how it happened. Ever since we both competed in this particular event last September, my feelings towards him changed. I find him attractive as the days change. I told my friends about it and they reacted sort of neutral about it. I have actually confessed to him last month, particularly on November 22, 5:00 P.M. His reply was "Thanks for the appreciation!!" Of course I freaked out the moment he replied. Come to think that we are not that close, of course it would turn out awkward for the both of us. And I believe he has this crush on one of my girl classmate, yet I don't care like...at all? It doesn't matter to me where this infatuation would go. I just like him very bad. I don't know what's happening to me. This sudden rush of feelings feels so surreal. Like call me weird, but I really want to talk to my heart so bad. Like how does this organ of mine works?? Anyways that's all. We are currently still cold at each other and only talk when he is asking about something. Don't like the status we're in but I think it's fine. I think that this feeling would subside and maybe next year, I'll treat him like a normal classmate, like it used to for the past two years. - j
