I'd really love to love you
To take your hand in mine
But both my hands are cuffed
And I haven't got much time

I've wrapped myself in shiny chains
And tied myself with ropes
If ever, I had broken free
It would destroy so many hopes

I think about you often
But my wishes I cast away
We talk about the good times
From all our long lost days

We flirt with what we know
We two can never share
We dance around the ending
Neither one of us can bear

And so we go on acting
As if we're only friends
As our hearts keep reaching out
With every word we two do send............
