"If it's gonna be, it's up to me." We have more power than we give ourselves credit for. We were made with great resiliency and perseverance. We just have to decide we're going to exercise them. "Things" don't have power over us, unless we give it to them. We know right from wrong and that is where are power comes into play. Nobody and "nothing" makes us do anything.

Precisely, there is nothing I can say or do that will convince anyone to make the step to better themselves, however once someone decides to make that step there are plenty available to assist in that journey. Once I realized this, I knew it was on me… my friends gave me initial support, but that reduces with time, the world moves on with or without participation… I chose to participate @LadyGrace

Some of us do relive the feelings, emotions, and over time they lessen, or harm us further. Life is complicated, people are complicated, but the message you mean is well received.

This just isn’t the right mindset for a turn around. You need to look at your self and figure out what it is you want that is good. There is nothing I can say here to change your mindset… that’s on you. Only you can look at things more positively @Jackaloftheazuresand

I think most adults realize the end is inevitable, most choose not to embrace or celebrate the idea… mostly because people enjoy life, or at least like the idea of what it gives @Jackaloftheazuresand
