Ok but it's an entirely natural emotion.. and happens just as often in both men and women.. so we would be foolish to pretend it doesn't exist.

I agree absolutely. Partners give themselves away to others; they aren't stolen from us. I like letting people be free to go, if they wish. That way, I'm more sure that someone's friendship/love is real rather than just a duty or obligation.
