When the person who you cheated on find out—and believe he or she will find out. It is just a matter of time— it will feels like the world is collapsing on the head. It will be the darkest place that no one can imagine. It will bring the highest loneliness in the world to the person. It will push the person to the deepest depression (major depression episode). Depend on how much the person knows may push the person to PTST. The person will loose all the trust, confident, and much more. Now, tell me how does it sound like love to you? you claim you love your partner!!! Grown up and cut the $&@$

@Phantome You mentioned that “it is not a personal question” and I am saying that to many people who found themselves in the situation. Love and cheering doesn’t go in one sentence. Just FYI, I am not a saint but when I do one night stand, I won’t tell myself that I love my partner.

It's just sex. Consider all the wonderful qualities that you can't get from anyone but your spouse. They far outweigh the simple act of sex.@Ysetruoc
@Ysetruoc I don't think ou understand that you insulted me with your first comment, and it just shows how ignorant you are, by making assumptions that it was me that's cheating. However , to answer your ignorance, the person being cheeted on migh never find out , it 's not always wrong, and yes, it's possible yoto love someone and cheat on them if in certiain circumstances where nature pre dominates a situation.

you could catch a disease, you could create a stalker, or someone who would want to harm your partner, she could go blabbing and ruin your reputation or your partnership, you could get them pregnant, not to mention having to keep it a secret forever and the possible guilt or admission that could destroy the relationships trust forever
@BetweenKittensandRiots Why is it dishonest? Could it be natural ?
@Phantome You know the part I think is strange is you have to ask this question you have to ask about keeping it a secret and then follow up with this,you already know it's wrong, you're just looking for other people's permission.

I mean yeah human nature might want to roam but if that's what you want then just tell the and don't sit around pretending that you really ideally want to be tied down or on the relationship escalator, Honesty pays off , one of the key reasons we live in a country where the divorce rates are so high is men and women talk "To eachother" but not really, not truthfully.
@BetweenKittensandRiots lol, you are so wrong about me. I already don't think it's wrong. I'm not looking for permission, as I cheat all the time. I was wondering how others felt about it. Please don't assume anything from questions
lol, yes it's still a really poor decision. It speaks of your character, your selfishness, your inability to hold up your end of a bargain.
@nonsensiclesnail But is or can be a natural response ?
@Phantome Even if it is a natural response, not everything natural is good.

respect. when that's lost, all is gone, collapse starts.
@Londonn I guess your mind can only expand on what you call respect. that's okay, I respect that
Londonn · 36-40, M
@Phantome good luck with your respect expansion, would love to watch how it goes.. of course when you find one 🤣
@Londonn The human mind can expand on lots of ideals and what we consider what's right and wrong. If you have a rigid concept on how life is lived and conceived then tht's okay. Just saying there is more to the thing called reality than just what you think is right or wrong. Thhere are others who can expand on what it all means.
Most people when they get married make a commitment to be faithful to that person. To cheat on one's spouse, requires you to not only lie but to go against your word. It's not loving them when you lie or break promises.
@midnightrose good point
If you love your partner as much as you say, nobody else has anything to offer you.

But you slept with someone else, so you don’t. And the fact that they don’t know about it doesn’t change what you did.
@Phantome Yes. Categorically.
@SirenCalledLuce I can't agree that its wrong for everyone
@Phantome I’m sure.

If you have to ask... there is already a relationship dying.
If it's a secret....you already know!
@SW-User It's nature

If you or whoever loves your/their partner, then there'd be no reason to be out cheating on them, even if it's a one night stand. Cheating is cheating, plain and simple. The fact that you or whoever would do it, try to keep it a secret, speaks volumes regarding the type of person you/they are.
@JerseyGal I understand what you mean, but I can't agree
JerseyGal · 51-55, F
@Phantome
The fact that you feel it is okay to cheat because you feel it is as nature intended shows me the type of person you are.
Unless it's an open arrangement where you both agree, then it is not right.
But you already know it is not right, being it has to be kept a secret.
Thankfully not all act or feel as you do.
@JerseyGal You might be right
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
Well, it depends on what you’ve agreed with your partner. If they’re ok with it, then it’s ok, if they don’t then it’s not and you shouldn’t. It’s the keeping it secret bit that’s problematic.
@Starsandfire But it might not be wrong ?
Starsandfire · 31-35, F
Like I said, I think it depends on your individual relationship. @Phantome

I don't know about you, but I couldn't eat the same thing for dinner, every night, for the rest of my life. I need variety.
