I finally got a diagnosis for my shoulder 💪

So late last, year repeat over working damamged my shoulder.
Went to a Doctor, he was kinda ok but screwed up my forms.
Said it was prolly a muscle tear.

Needed forms redone properly, (but Drs are almost impossible to get into now, in time), So i went to another dr. Got a diagnosis: bursitis. But she was thorough with the paperwork.

Also between Drs, i saw a Physio - who had his own diagnosis : tendonitis.

FINALLY.... got an ultra sound today, and guess what?

They're all correct😂
It was "D. All of the above🤦‍♀

So I've been back at work, scrubbing walls, washing floors and moving furniture and lifting shit with tendonitis, bursitis and a torn muscle in my shoulder 🤷‍♀

All because of initial bad paperwork delaying the department accepting my injury.

Fucking bureaucracy 😑

We women are amazing! Our body’s are falling apart and we still go to work everyday.

@OogieBoogie ya I am with you on that high pain threshold.
17 1/2 years ago I dislocated my right knee and fell on it while it was dislocated, thought I broke it because my leg was at a 90° angel at my knee. The pain was terrible so I grabbed my calf and straightened my leg. Not a single male Dr believes me, they all say, “there’s no way, that would be too painful, you just dislocated your knee cap.” 🙄

@OogieBoogie exactly! I can see you doing that!
Well, when you do something all out

Can you be put on light duty? Or at least paid time off?
@Bexsy i am technically on light duties but it doesnt really translate well into real life.

I can't really 'lightly"scrub spit and gum off a table 😂
Can't really half wash a floor.

Im reality ive tuned it to 'working mindfully' - which means i work till it hurts too much and then go have a cuppa 😏
@OogieBoogie take more cuppas ;)

That ain't good....what can be done,now,"off time " or am I dreaming??
@bookerdana well we've just got back after summer holidays....so its had a good rest.
Im on light duties which doesnt translate well to cleaning....it really just means no window cleaning.
I imagine more physio, and hopefully that's all.

Ill find out when i see my doc next week.

so what is the plan now? Will you do some physiotherapy
Boeing · 36-40
@OogieBoogie I had chronic problems with my shoulder ..I'll write some more later because I got to go now..

Yes, it is up to you too, to choose the less invasive, the treatment need to fit the patient. Best of luck anyway and it's a good starting point that you now got it figured...:)
@Boeing yeah...its nice to know exactly whats wrong now.
Gotta do some research on it myself.

Ill look for what you write up.... when you have time.

Thanks

@OogieBoogie So for me it took me years and it is still healing, but I chose no invasive therapy and I had years of shoulder dislocations which greatly affected the area.
I changed a few doctors actually until I found the one who could work with me, not only with making a choice for a treatment that doesn't involve surgery but actually figured a great treatment for me,
an holistic one.

I have changed few doctors and a couple of masseurs as well. Those masseurs were really helpful too.

I begun practicing qigong as well as medicinal exercise to regain my range of motion.

I ended up in a quantum healing physiotherapist who did a bioresonance therapy to me, including hand massage, machine massage, meditation inducing waves, a personalized food chart - as shoulder issues can be affected too by the spleen function, or heart or else - plus personal exercises I was doing for few months, few times a week at the gym in his office. It was truly a blessing to have come across that therapy as it truly matched me and the healing was obvious.
All in all a holistic approach that I did like. Ever heard or done bioresonance before? I would recommend that.

Other than that, I think your issue might not be the same degree as mine was and you can get it healed a lot faster. So I wish you the very best 😌 I think you can find great relief now that you begun checking with your issue seriously.
I had it for years until I got truly serious about curing it and once I had taken that decision, that was the most important part of my healing.
Bugger. What's the plan?
@NudasPriest no idea yet.
More Physio, rest, work carefully....hopefully nothing else.

Dont really wanna go into a germy hostpital.
(I shouldn't say that....its pretty good here).
Its just hospitals are dead boring 🙄

@OogieBoogie That reminds me of when I was a kid and my dad bought me sausages, egg and chips at the motorway services. I picked up the salt and vinegar, gave my chips a healthy seasoning and tucked it, then spat it out. I'd picked up the sugar dispenser, thinking it was salt and sugary chips taste like shite! ☹
Lesson learned, haven't done THAT again! 🤣

Nothing wrong with a healthy appetitte for Greek yoghurt 😉

My current obsession is camp stove meals, ready for my (hopefully) upcoming hikes, even been using my outdoor cooking kit indoors so my practicing is authentic 🤣
@RodneyTrotter1 ahhh.
You realize once you learn to cook one pot meals ...
....youll never go back 😂

@OogieBoogie Lentil Dahl was tonight's treat. I never imagined being able to cook stuff like that on a camping stove, great fun! 😊
Can't beat a one pot meal, I hate washing up 😁
